We didn’t know what to
do!
Well, can you blame us?
Would you?
Everybody seemed like they were frozen and I think Barney’s
whiskers were starting to get a permanent twitch. Well, here’s what I did know, Smokey and
Midnight had to stay back for the obvious reasons. However, Smokey surprised all of us by
yelling that she was ready to attack.
That pumped up the Mayor, who seemed like he turned into
the cat version of that dude from Braveheart yelled that it was time to attack
and we were all ready to charge, with absolutely no idea what we were going to
do. Now, what’s interesting about the
whole idea of us attacking is that we cats are the invisible blur- so just
imagine this…
All of us, in one big large group going at these humans
like a blur. Picture it like a cartoon
that well, make humans fall down on their behind and that’s exactly what
happened, combined with a lot of ‘Meeeeee-owwwwws.”
And the humans didn’t see it coming. After they were knocked down, it was time to
separate and every angle seemed covered.
Daisy and Smokey freed the other animals and soon there were dogs and cats
yowling, barking and the next thing you know.
The noises were everywhere and I’m not sure where every animal went but
it didn’t matter. The humans were to
busy trying to figure out what was really going on and the best part was
hearing Midnight’s mom’s killer screaming.
The Mayor and I had the same idea at the same time. We both leapt and each grabbed a
shoulder. The protection of the group
was gone but she was yelling over and over, “Where did these cats come
from? Where? Where?”
