Kitty Agents

            The Mayor came up with a plan about what to do.  We were going to stop this whole thing, no matter what.  There was no way we were going to let this happen.  We had to stop it and we were going too, no matter what.

            But how?

            No one was really sure but we headed to that shelter just to see what was going to happen.  Now, this shelter was in a really scary part of town.  Granted I shouldn’t say anything bad about this city but it looked really bad.  It’s lucky we were all in a group.  Barney swore that he saw a couple of guys carrying guns!

 Finally, we were at the shelter and it did look like one of those scary buildings on tv.  I couldn’t actually believe animals stayed there.  I felt so sorry for Midnight, how could she even stand being there! 

The place was so creepy-looking that the Mayor (meee-ow we all did come to think of it) thought she got the place mixed up bepaws it was such a dark, creepy night.  But, the doubt didn’t last too long bepaws there was plenty of barking and I heard some female human say, “Where’s the truck?”

It didn’t take that long to figure out that this was the killer.  Midnight stiffened up and was about ready to jump out of her skin.  Luckily, Daisy and Smokey kept her calm.  If they weren’t there she would’ve taken off for sure and well, I wasn’t sure where we’d be then.

Well, back to the humans…

This person who killed Midnight’s mom sounded like she was with four male humans.  Then there was a lot of barking and I heard the female say, “Hurry up, we have to get them out of here before somebody comes.”
            Midnight’s whiskers really started twitching then!
