Barney's Surprise

As I was trying to think of a good meow to get out of this, Barney stopped me.  Do you know how?  Well, he had another surprise for everybody.  He had dirt on a couple of the 'burds,' especially the fat one.  The fattest cardinal was the one in charge of this whole operation.   He had the ability to call off these nasty bulldog bookies at anytime and trust me-what Barney said got his attention.  I'll be honest, he scared the feathers off of him.  The cardinal told all of us that it was over.  There was no need to worry.  The debt was forgotten and that we could paw along in peace.

And you'll never believe this- I asked Barney what he said to that 'burd' and he told me that he just made it all up!!!  He didn't have any dirt on the 'burd'!!  The stupid 'burd' bought it completely!!
