A Visit From Our Pal Lou

Hi Smokey! Hi Anipals! Lou here.

I want to talk to you today about how I got thwarted in my attempt to get snuggles on demand.

I know you kitties know how it goes. Sometimes you just want a snuggle from your Mom while she is werking.

Lately, I haven't been getting the amount of snuggles I want, on demand, and, not having any anipals to consult with, I took matters into my own paws.

I decided that I had to get creative naughty to get Mom's attention.

 

 

This picture was taken with me committing the sin of sitting on top of her computer bag, which was on the dining room table. I am not allowed on the dining room table. At all. Something about Mom knowing exactly where my paws have been...

 

So, it so happened that one day I was sitting in a sun puddle, when I got the urge to snuggle. But Mom was sitting in one of the not-so-comfy chairs at the table, so I decided to wait until she could move to someplace more comfortable.

 

Finally, I saw my chance. I formed a quick plan. While Mom was in the bathroom, I jumped up onto the table, and sat on her computer bag. I was thinking that, when Mom came out of the bathroom, she would see me, scoop me up, and snuggle me.

 

I did not bargain on Mom's roommate deciding to shoo me off of the table.

I was not deterred. I snuggled into the computer bag deeper and gave the roommate a dirty look. How *dare* roommate interfere with my plan!

 

Anyway..Mom came out of the bathroom, saw me and roommate having a standoff, and started taking pictures instead. Phooey.

 

I got my snuggle eventually, but it took a lot longer than I thought it should have.

 

How have other anipals handled getting snuggles on demand? Is there a sure-fire method that maybe I could use next time?
