Barney and this mountain lion didn't really have any time to meow any memories of this so-called 'sand cat convention.' Do you know why? Oh just take a meow- the coyotes came back.
They came charging up like one of those human armies do in a movie. All dey needed was for somebody to blow a bugle. The lion looked at them like he was bored and I think Smokey might've yowled and passed out. He also let out a big yawn and said, "You kitties get out of here," he ordered. Then he gave the snowmobile a big push and I was able to start it again.
But there were just so many coyotes...
and we just couldn't leave him there...
mountain lion or no mountain lion....
